Author’s Note: This is the first fanfic I’m releasing on the Internet. It was fun making this, and I hope you enjoy it too. I use a lot of words in here you Non-Dragonball Z fans probably haven’t heard of, so I made a list of helpful definitions. If you do watch DBZ, then skip the following definitions section. If you are a non-Sonic fan, then you’ll probably be ok anyway. Keep in mind that on both Earth and Mobius, both humans and most animals are sapient. I also want to thank Tuarim for letting me use his character in my fanfic.

Kamehameha Wave- The Kamehameha Wave is a ki blast created by Master Roshi. It is a blue (or yellow) mass of energy the created when the fighter cups his hand behind his back or over his head and releases (throws) it at his opponent. Goku made this attack famous.

Ki- Ki is the inner power of everyone. Those with a strong ki can control this energy and raise their inner power. Ki can be used to create blasts of energy, enable the person to fly, and/or allow super speed.

Saiyan- A race from the planet Vegeta that took over using the full moon that only came around every 3 years to become giant Oozaru (monkeys) and destroy their enemies. Frieza allied himself with the race. The Saiyan sent fighters to planets to take them over for Frieza. Frieza took King Vegeta’s son Prince Vegeta for training, King Vegeta and his army went after Frieza. Frieza destroyed the entire army and the Planet Vegeta. Saiyans have a monkey-like tail. Only 6 Saiyans survived, Goku, who was on earth; Vegeta, who was held captive by Frieza; Turlis, Goku’s evil clone, later killed by Goku; Broli, killed on Earth in a fight with the Z warriors; Nappa, later killed by Vegeta when he was no longer of any use; and Raditz, killed in a fight with Piccolo and Goku after kidnapping Goku’s son, Gohan. Goku and Vegeta survived; they are the last full-blooded Saiyans. The half Saiyan, half Humans are the sons of Goku, Gohan and Goten; the son of Vegeta, Trunks; and the daughter of Vegeta, Bra. The one fourth Saiyan, three fourths Human is Gohan’s daughter, Pan.

Super Saiyan- Originally triggered by an inner pain in a strong Saiyan, the inner, true power of a Saiyan is released and ki rises tremendously. The hair turns golden white and floats in the air and the eyes turn teal colored in the first 3 levels. In the 4^th level (not in this story) the hair turns black and the Saiyan’s tail grows longer, as well as hair grows all over the back, the stomach and the arms.

Power up- The fighter has been suppressing his true ki power level, and releases part or all of it for use, usually in a fight.

Dragon Balls- 2 known sets of 7 exists. Gathering all of one set and summoning the dragon will result in the granting of 3 wishes within the dragon’s power.

Fusion Dance- A special dance that must be mirrored EXACTLY by two people with nearly equal ki power levels. If enacted correctly, the two will fuse for 30 minutes, then separate and have to stay separated for one hour before attempting to fuse again.

Senzu Bean- A senzu bean is a special bean grown on Earth, when ingested, it heals all wounds and raises the fighter’s power level to maximum.

Masako Beam- A ki blast known by Gohan and Piccolo similar to that of a Kamehameha Wave.

Prologue:

Imagine if you will there is a personality. One piece of this personality belongs to one person; meanwhile, trillions of miles away, another has the piece complete this personality. Neither part knows the other physically exists, but both know well of each other in the dream world.

Timestamp: 16 AUG 3235

Chapter 1:

"KAMEHAMEHA!"

Two fighters face-off against one another, one the sensei, the other is his student. The sensei is the Earth’s greatest hero. Son Goku. The student is a tall, slender young-man of mystery, with naturally dark green hair and teal colored eyes, who simply calls himself "Harry."

The day is drawing to a close as the two train. Goku’s friends have all finished their training, so they stand and observe the match between Goku and Harry. Their names are Gohan, Goten, Vegeta, Trunks, Krillin, Piccolo, and 18.

The two still fighting are exhausted and bloody. They are both at a standstill as their blasts of ki energy clash. Harry’s blast begins to overtake Goku’s. Goku is forced to power up to Super Saiyan Level 1. His hair begins to float in the air; his eyes change from black to teal. An aura of golden light surrounds him, and, in a final burst of energy, his black hair transforms to a golden-white. Goku’s blast overtakes Harry’s and Harry is defeated.

Harry slowly rises to his feet. "No fair! You’re not supposed to go Super Saiyan on me!"

"Kakarott," Vegeta exclaimed, " you are ruthless and sneaky. You are a true Saiyan warrior!"

Goku made a goofy smile, like he always does, while he fell out of Super Saiyan form.

"Guys, I’m hungry," said Gohan, "let’s go and eat."

The Z team agreed. They took off toward the Kame House. Not shortly after, a white light surrounded them. When the light faded, the entire team was gone.

Chapter 2:

Meanwhile, on a planet trillions of miles from Earth named Mobius:

It was dark at the power ring pool. A figure stood impatiently waiting for "it" to happen. His name? The most way-past-cool Mobian you could ever meet, Sonic the Hedgehog! "It" began; the lake began to bubble and churn, and then a golden Power Ring appeared over the water. Sonic was about to grab the ring when out of nowhere a green blur jetted across the water and grabbed the ring. All Sonic got was wet.

Dripping wet, Sonic shouted, "Hey! Come back here! That was mine!" With that, Sonic took off after the green figure.

The green figure shouted back, "You gotta catch me first," tucking the ring into his jacket.

"So that’s how you wanna play, is it? Alright then!" Sonic took off with fire trails emerging behind him.

Sonic was gaining on the figure. The figure stopped and sidestepped. POW! Sonic was flat up against a tree. "That hurt…" Sonic peeled himself off the tree. "That ring was mine, Squeaks!"

Yes, this mystery figure is none other than Sonic’s way-past-cool cousin, Squeaks Hedgehog. Squeaks was a hedgehog with a similar build to Sonic, except he has green quills, teal eyes, violet shoes, wears a T-shirt and shorts. "Heh heh heh, you gotta get on the ball. Here, catch," Squeaks said, taking out the ring and tossing it to Sonic.

"Thanks."

"No problem."

"So, how’d you know when the ring would pop up?"

"Easy, it comes up at the same times everyday."

"Oh, yeah…I forgot"

All of the sudden, the area was engulfed in a white light. All Sonic could do was watch as Squeaks was sucked in.

Chapter 3:

When the light faded, the members of the Z team were standing there. Sonic stood in shock, partially from the disappearance of Squeaks, and partially from the appearance of these strange visitors. Gohan looked around "Hey! Where are we?"

"Where’s the food?" Goku commented stupidly.

"Who…Who are you?" Sonic managed to get out.

"Who said that?" Trunks said, while looking around.

"M-me," Sonic stuttered.

The Z fighters prepared for a fight. Sonic, in-turn, put up his dukes. Piccolo asked calmly, "Are you friend or foe?"

"That depends on your intentions," Knuckles the Echidna said landing next to Sonic.

Sonic just noticed someone was missing, "Uh…what happened to Squeaks? I saw him get sucked into the light."

"Yeah, on toppa that, Harry’s gone too," Goten commented.

"Where are they…" all of them but Vegeta wondered.

Meanwhile, somewhere on Earth, a rather large, shadowy figure carried a sack full of 7 large spheres. He ducked into an alley and placed these yellow balls on the ground, each one had a certain number of stars ranging from one to seven. They were the dragon balls, what could be going on?

"What is this place?" Harry was surprised. It was a cold world, yet it was warm, there was no floor, it was endless in all directions. There were lights and darks beyond description, like some sort of dream world.

"I was about to ask the same thing," Squeaks said, surprising Harry. Harry spun around in a fighting stance. "Relax, Harry."

"You’re…You’re Squeaks Hedgehog! But that’s impossible, all you are is a drawing on a piece of paper."

"Yes, in your world, I remember meeting you in my sleep. I dismissed it as being a figment of my imagination."

"I can’t believe you’re real…put ‘er there." He extended his hand and Squeaks took it. Then, some force acted upon them. They couldn’t let go; their molecular structure was merging.

"Hey! What gives!!" exclaimed Squeaks. They began to fuse, first the arm, then the torso, followed by the other arm and the legs, finally, the head. The entire process was painless. Squeaks was standing there. The missing half of his personality fit into place. His being was complete. His knowledge doubled. He was now Harry Squeaks Hedgehog.

Squeaks lost consciousness and dematerialized.

Chapter 4:

Sonic, Knuckles, and the Z team were searching around for the missing two, with the exception of Mister Ego, Vegeta. Vegeta was leaning against a tree when the green hedgehog appeared. "Hmm? Oh, perfect, another one," Vegeta complained because of the additional Mobian.

"Vegeta…" Squeaks said getting up, "…always the one for the sour…comments."

"Very funny…huh?! How do you know my name?"

"Well," Squeaks said running off, "call me Harry."

Squeaks went in search of his comrades. Vegeta stood there a bit puzzled by this remark, dismissed it, and kept on keeping to himself.

Back on Earth, the large figure cackled. He began mumbling something in some strange language. This language was Namekian. He was summoning the Namekian Dragon that would grant him three wishes, Porunga.

Lightning begins to strike as the sky turns black. A ray of light shoots out of the center dragon ball. The light morphs itself into a large dragon and materielizes.

The dragon speaks in Namekian; "You have 3 wishes. Speak them well and I shall grant them."

Also in Namekian, the large figure began to recite his wishes, "Porunga, please revive the one named Frieza." The dragon concentrated, "It shall be done."

A form appeared at the base of the dragon, "It feels good to be back, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Frieza cackled.

"For my second wish, please bring back the one named Cell."

"It shall be done." A tall figure appeared.

"I’m back! Now to show those Saiyan punks who’s the strongest fighter!" Cell exclaimed.

"For my final wish, please free the one named Garlic Jr. from the Dead Zone."

"It shall be done." A small figure appeared.

"HEHEHEHEHEHEHE!! Now I’ll show Goku what true power really is!" Garlic Jr. laughed.

"Greetings, Frieza, Cell, and Garlic Jr., I am Robotnik. I have revived you, because I’d like you to take out some of my enemies, unfortunately, by using my transporter to come here to revive you, I have accidentally brought the Z team to my planet. As a down payment, I have granted you life. If you can help me defeat my enemies and the Z Team, I can give you a base on my planet and spaceships to use to conquer others. Do we have a deal?"

Frieza, Cell, and Garlic Jr. took a moment to greet each other, then considered Robotnik’s offer. Cell spoke up, "Robotnik, under normal circumstances, we don’t make deals, but in this case, we accept."

"Excellent! We shall head for Mobius now!" Robotnik presses a button on a small device and the four disappear in a white flash.

Timestamp: 17 AUG 3235

Squeaks was able to gather the group back in Knothole. The villagers were a little nervous, especially from Vegeta and Piccolo. Squeaks told them what happened and how he fused with Harry.

"That’s almost crazy enough to believe," said Goku jokingly.

"Are you saying you don’t believe me?" Squeaks asked a little annoyed. "You, me, here, Kamehameha wave blast off, now!" Squeaks floated up into the air.

"Whoa! Since when could you do that?" asked Tails, the two-tailed kitsune.

"Since I merged with Harry."

"So, you wanna have a blast-off?" Goku said, rising up into the air.

"Yeah, but no going Super Saiyan on me"

"KA-ME-HA-ME…" both said as they cupped their hands and powered up. "…HA!!!!" They let the blasts go toward each other.

Chapter 5:

A blue ball of energy followed by a trail leaves each of the fighters. The blasts meet in the middle, and a contest similar to arm-wrestling begins. One blast advances, then recedes. Squeaks’ aura of energy grows. His Kamehameha Wave soon overtakes Goku’s. Goku stopped his attack to bat Squeaks’ attack away.

Both fighters landed in the center of Knothole Village. Squeaks inquired, "So Sensei, do you believe me now?"

"I believed you to begin with, I could sense that you are Harry, I was just joking," Goku grinned his goofy grin again.

Robotnik and the three villains appeared in Robotropolis.

"…so then Frieza blew up the planet Vegeta, my home! I vowed to destroy him, but Trunks beat me to him," Vegeta was telling his story. His head shot up," It’s Frieza, he’s here, and so is Cell and another power!"

"Yeah, I feel it too," Krillin commented. Goku used his instant transmission while the rest of the Z Team took off for Robotropolis.

"Hey, come on, let’s go. Maybe we can help," Knuckles said gliding off. Sonic, Squeaks, and Tails agreed as they speed after Knuckles.

Goku appeared to see Robotnik and three of his most hated enemies, Frieza, Cell, and Garlic Jr.

"Well, well, it’s you again, MONKEY!" Frieza yelled slamming a punch into Goku’s face.

Chapter 6:

The Z team was flying toward Robotropolis. All of the sudden, Cell was before them. "It’s been a long time, but it feels good to be back."

"Step back, guys, I’ll handle this!" Gohan exclaimed, "I’ve beaten him before and he was a pushover."

"You aren’t the only one who’s been training. There’s an excellent facility up there," Cell commented. "Allow me to demonstrate." Cell flew forward with several before images to confuse Gohan. Cell landed a punch square in Gohan’s gut.

Gohan coughed up some blood. "Why you…I won’t give up." Gohan passed out.

"Enough of this!" yelled Vegeta. "I will destroy you Cell!"

"Fine," Cell said, dropping Gohan. "Bring it on!"

Vegeta powered up to Super Saiyan Level 3. "I feel your immense power, but you can be beaten!"

"We’ll see," Cell answered simply. Cell lunged at Vegeta and fierce fist brawls began.

Meanwhile, back in Robotropolis, Frieza and Garlic Jr. had been doing some training of their own in the past 20 years. Although he could not move in his prison, Garlic Jr. mentally trained himself and had gained millions of points in his power level. Frieza had trained with Cell in the great beyond and had learned how to sense powers without a scouter.

Goku was being batted back and forth between Garlic Jr. and Frieza. He was, like Vegeta, at Super Saiyan Level 3, but this was to no avail; he could not fight both of them at once.

As Goten tended to his brother, Piccolo, Krillin, and 18 flew toward Robotropolis. Trunks stayed behind, should Vegeta lose.

Down on the ground, Sonic, Squeaks, Tails, and Knuckles were speeding toward Robotropolis. "Sonic we have to lure the fight out of Robotropolis, Frieza, Cell, and Garlic Jr. are all capable of destroying the city if they get really ticked," Squeaks said.

"Right, if it’s anything like the power you and the funny-haired guy showed…" Sonic was interrupted.

"It’s WAY more."

"Guys…SWATbot platoons straight ahead, could we focus on the road?" Tails stated sarcastically.

Squeaks nodded and waved his hand, sending a wave of energy that cut the bots in half. They sped into Robotropolis.

Goku had fallen out of his Super Saiyan form and was barely conscious when Piccolo burst through the window, followed by Krillin and 18. Garlic Jr. flew behind Piccolo and knocked 18 and Krillin outside. They began fighting, leaving just Piccolo with Frieza and the nearly KO’d Goku.

"Well, if it isn’t the Namek," Frieza said sarcastically.

"Yeah, that’s me. I don’t like it when you beat up my friends," Piccolo said coldly.

"So, how is Namek? …Oh, wait, that’s right, I blew it up. Hahahahaha…" Frieza was interrupted when Squeaks, who broke off from the others when they were attacked, came busting through the door, tripping, and falling on Frieza, knocking him over. Piccolo laughed.

Frieza got up, and knocked Piccolo into a wall, knocking him out. "Prepare to did insolent fool!" Frieza turned to Squeaks, and powered up a ki blast at point blank range.

Chapter 7:

Garlic Jr. was outside, taking hits from Krillin and 18. "Oh, come on, you can do better than that, hehehehehehe!" Garlic Jr. taunted. Garlic Jr. just floated there as Krillin and 18 gave it everything they could. "I’ve had enough." Garlic Jr. hit Krillin so hard he went crashing through a building and into another.

"Krillin!!" 18 shouted as she saw the love of her life knocked clean through a building.

"You’re next," Garlic Jr. laughed as he stared down his opponent.

Vegeta was beginning to slip as he tried to fight onward against Cell. "What’s the matter? Feeling fatigued?" Cell asked. Vegeta couldn’t hold out at Super Saiyan Level 3 forever. Vegeta knew he couldn’t win at this point. Cell delivered a blow to the face and Vegeta was knocked out.

Gohan still needed to catch his breath, and he sensed that 18 needed help, so he began to make his way toward Robotropolis. This left Goten and Trunks to fight Cell.

Robotnik and a new kind of Combot team that had super speed and agility were tailing Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.

"This is looking bad, you guys," Sonic said, backing into a corner.

The Combots trapped them. "It looks like were gonna have to fight!" Knuckles shouted.

Piccolo ran toward Frieza, but Frieza batted him into a wall, KOing him in an instant. "Now rodent, you are mine!" Squeaks trembled as Frieza raised his hand to form a small ki blast.

"Oh no…" Squeaks trembled.

Chapter 8:

"…Fusion…HA!" Goten and Trunks yelled as they touched fingers and fused together to become Gotenks.

"So, you want to fight me as one, huh? Fine, but Trunks, you do know what Goten said about your girlfriend, don’t you?" Cell inquired.

Gotenks started asking himself questions. Trunks got control, "Hey what’d you say?"

Goten got control, "Me? Nothin’…honest."

"He said the he is a much better ladies-man than purple-hair boy will ever be."

"Alright, that’s it!" Trunks took over and punched himself. The two were fighting for control of Gotenks.

"Oh," Cell commented, "Trunks said that his dad is a better fighter than Goku will ever be."

"Say what?!" Goten said as he got control, and hit himself against the nearest tree. Soon, Gotenks wasn’t fit to fight and Cell just slammed him to the ground, then disappeared.

"Well, that was easy," Knuckles said, rubbing his hands together.

C’mon, let’s get to the control tower," Sonic said. The three went toward the tower at top speed.

"Prepare to die!" Frieza exclaimed to Squeaks. Frieza fired, but Squeaks put his hand up to block it. He was knocked back, but then managed to hold the blast. He flung the blast up, and it went through the roof and continued up forever. "How did you…" Frieza was cut short when 18 went flying through the wall behind him and he had to step out of the way. "Watch it, Garlic."

"My bad," Garlic Jr. said.

Just then, Cell appeared. "I’m back."

Goku began to get up, "You can’t win against us." Goku was hurt, but he had somewhat of a second wind.

"You are a persistent monkey," Frieza insulted Goku.

Goku had had enough of the "monkey" stuff. "You know, I’ve had it up to here with that monkey business!" Goku yelled going Super Saiyan Level 3. "I’m a Saiyan."

Vegeta was getting a second wind. He got up. He shook his head and took off for Robotropolis. Goku was fighting Cell and Frieza and doing pretty bad. He landed next to Goku. "Kakarott, it’s going to take both of us to defeat them."

"Right," Goku said.

Vegeta powered up to Super Saiyan Level 3. Both began the Fusion Dance, "FU…SION…HA!" They combined and became Gogeta.

"Nice show," Cell said, "now it’s our turn."

"Let’s show them what we’re made of," Frieza said.

Cell and Frieza began the Fusion Dance, "Fusion…HA!" The two super villains combined. "We are Cellza!"

Gogeta looked in shock and horror…

Chapter 9:

Gotenks was lying on the ground in the middle of the desert. "Why did we let Cell make monkeys out of us?" Just then, they separated back into Goten and Trunks. Goten and Trunks got up.

"Come on, let’s get to that city, they may need help," Goten said running toward Robotropolis.

Gohan found Krillin KO’d on the ground on top of a trash heap. "Krillin!" Krillin was pretty messed up. He was bruised and had several broken bones.

Krillin came to. "Gohan…senzu…beans…left…pocket," Krillin said in obvious pain. Gohan reached into Krillin’s pocket and pulled out the bag of senzu beans.

"Here, take this," Gohan said, feeding Krillin a bean. Krillin’s muscles bulged, his scars and scrapes healed, and his energy was restored. Gohan ate a bean to rejuvenate his energy.

Goten and Trunks arrived where Gohan and Krillin were. Gohan tossed them each a senzu bean. They ate the beans and were once again ready to fight. The 4 fighters took off for the central tower, where Cellza and Garlic Jr. were.

Garlic Jr. was kicking 18 in the side as she screamed in pain. Krillin flew in and knocked Garlic Jr. off his wife. Gohan ran over and gave 18 a senzu bean

Cellza was beating up on Gogeta. Gogeta had managed to take the fight a few thousand feet into the air, so that the city might be spared. Piccolo flew up from the tower and tossed Gogeta a senzu bean. Gogeta caught it and ate the bean. The battle was now even.

Goten, Gohan, and Trunks stood in awe as Krillin dished out blow after blow on Garlic Jr. Krillin was enraged; Garlic Jr. couldn’t fight back.

Meanwhile, Squeaks was messing with a console for some unknown reason. Only he knew why.

Chapter 10:

Goten and Krillin were fighting Garlic Jr., but nothing seemed to work. Gogeta was a few thousand feet above them fighting Cellza.

Squeaks opened a portal, "What are you doing, Harry?" Trunks asked surprised.

"Well, you may be able to kill Cell and Frieza, but Garlic Jr. is immortal," Squeaks replied.

Gohan, Trunks, and 18 gasped. They had forgotten Garlic Jr. was immortal. Squeaks ran through the portal just as Sonic came crashing through the door, slipped, and skidded into the portal as it closed.

Tails and Knuckles were busy running from a Combot platoon that had ambushed them earlier when the bots jumped between Sonic and the two. "Well," Knuckles said, "We gotta fight, yet again."

"KAMEHAMEHA!!" Gogeta fired his blast at Cellza as Cellza fired back. They were fighting at their max and somebody was not going to last long.

Sonic landed on a small island. There was a house situated in the center of the island. It said, painted in large, red letters, "KAME HOUSE."

"Where am I?" Sonic asked.

"We’re at the Kame House, don’t worry, the only one you have to watch out for is Bulma," Harry responded from behind Sonic.

"Squeaks? You’re here?" Sonic said turning around, but to his surprise, the green hedgehog he knew as "Squeaks" was not there. Instead, a young man about the age of 15 or 16 stood there. He had green hair and teal eyes, standing about 5 feet 11 inches. "Homina…Homina…Homina!"

"Sonic, It’s ok. With my fusion, I take this form on Earth."

Bulma walked out, looked over, saw Sonic and screamed, "It’s a spiky rat!"

"Bulma, calm down, he’s ok. Besides, wouldn’t like to cast your eyes on something other than those eye-sores, Oolong and Roshi?"

"I heard that, young whipper-snapper!" Master Roshi exclaimed walking out the door. "I’m an old man, I don’t need insults."

"Well, sorry…anyway, this is my…uh…friend, Sonic," Squeaks said. Sonic waved a little not sure of himself.

"Sorry I screamed, little guy," Bulma said, ruffling Sonic’s quills. Sonic backed off. "Well, we have an attitude today, don’t we?"

Sonic growled a little.

Harry decided to break it up, "Bulma, do you still have the dragon radar?"

"Yeah, I got it right here, and we already have four of the dragon balls," Bulma replied.

"Good I need them, Garlic Jr., Frieza, and Cell are back, we need the dragon balls!"

"WHAT?!" Bulma and Roshi screamed, running into the Kame House and diving under the bed to hide.

Harry grabbed the dragon radar as it flipped out of Bulma’s hands and took off over the water.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Sonic yelled, taking off running over the water, creating a back splashes a mile long.

Chapter 11:

The blast-off between Cellza and Gogeta was dead even. Neither was strong enough to take the other down. Cellza forced more energy into his blast. Gogeta powered up to counter Cellza.

Inside Gogeta, Vegeta thought, "Frieza, you have caused me and my race horrible pain. You destroyed my planet, my people! I have never been able to fully avenge them. This ends today!!"

Goku also had his own thoughts. "Frieza, you have caused pain to millions in this universe. You were silenced once, but now you have returned. You will not be able to harm others again. Cell, you may have been made using the cells of Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, my other friends, and myself, but that does not make this fight any different. I was never able to beat you. My son did some 17 years ago and the world owes him a debt of gratitude. You have returned to hurt others, but you will fail!"

Frieza thought in his corner of Cellza, "You Saiyans have plagued me many times before. You annoyed me for years as I let you conquer worlds for me. Vegeta has challenged me, Gohan has scarred me, Kakarott his blasted me into pieces, and Trunks has destroyed me. It ends now!!"

Cell had thoughts as well, "Goku, your son may have killed me, but I am here in front of you. My desire to be the best there is greater than ever before. I am perfect! This is what I live for!"

Gogeta and Cellza both let out a yell, as the blast grew bigger from each side.

Chapter 12:

"YEEOUCH!!" Harry screamed as a boulder fell on his hand while reaching for a dragon ball. He punched the rock causing it to shatter. His hand was red and throbbing. He slowly pulled the dragon ball from the rubble. Sonic arrived a few seconds later, just as Harry was blowing on his hand.

"Hey! I told you to wait for me!" Sonic shouted.

"Sorry, but we don’t have that kind of time," Harry winced, massaging his swelled hand. "The next dragon ball is due north 300 miles. We have to go now." Harry powered up and flew off to the north. Sonic was on the ball this time and sped off after Harry.

The sixth dragon ball was on a ledge high up on the side of a cliff. Harry stared upward, tapping his foot. "The wind is too strong to attempt to fly up there, and I haven’t mastered the instant transmission technique yet. How am I supposed to get that dragon ball?" Just then, Sonic whizzed by, ran up the side of the cliff and landed on the ledge. He picked up the ball and examined it.

"What’s so special about this thing?" Sonic ran back down the ledge and screeched to a halt in front of Harry. "Lookin’ for this?"

"Uh…yeah, thanks. The last dragon ball is in a town not too far from here. Let’s go!" Harry shot off to the west as Sonic followed at top speed.

They landed on top of a building. The dragon ball was nowhere to be seen. Harry looked at the dragon radar puzzled. The only thing around was a flagpole. Harry leaned against the pole. A small yellow sphere rolled off the top, fell, and clunked Harry on the head. "Ouch!" Harry yelled, rubbing his head. Sonic picked up the dragon ball. "Well let’s get back," Harry said in obvious discomfort. Sonic took off toward the Kame House, and Harry followed, "Hey! Head starts aren’t fair!"

Chapter 13:

Krillin, 18, Goten, and Piccolo were all KO’d at the hands of Garlic Jr. Trunks was fighting his hardest against the blue demon. Trunks knew it was only a matter of time before he would meet the same or worse fate as his friends.

The blast-off continued with Cellza gaining an edge over Gogeta. Vegeta was coaching Goku inside the mind of Gogeta. "Come on, Kakarott! Our fusion is almost over. We have five minutes to finish them off."

"I’m trying," Goku thought, "it isn’t that easy."

"MASAKO-HA!!!!" a blast came out of nowhere and hit Cellza distracting him.

Cellza turned, "What?! Gohan?!" This was just the break Gogeta needed, with a final thrust of energy; his blast overtook Cellza’s. "AHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Cellza screamed as he was blown to pieces.

The Kamehameha Wave continued, leaving the planet and fading in space.

Gogeta separated into Vegeta and Goku. Both passed out and fell, crashing into the ground. Gohan landed next to them.

"Eternal Dragon, I summon you now, hear my howl to make my wish come true!" Harry yelled at the hexagonal formation of the 7 dragon balls. Sonic looked a little puzzled. "I dunno, that’s what Krillin says, and it sounds cool." The sky turned black. A ray of light shot out of the center dragon ball. The ray morphed into a long, snake-like dragon.

"Speak your two wishes well and I will grant them," rumbled Shenlong, the Eternal Dragon of Earth.

Sonic gazed up in horror, totally freaked, "EEP!!"

"Please return Garlic Jr. to the dead zone," Harry stated.

"It shall be done," rumbled the dragon.

Meanwhile, "Now I will kill you all, HAHAHAHA!!!" Garlic Jr. Just then, a portal opened behind Garlic Jr. He turned around. "What the…?" He got sucked in. "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!" The dead zone portal closed, and all three of the tyrants had been vanquished.

There was still one more wish to be granted, "Hmmm…I wanna wheelbarrow full of chilidogs!" Sonic yelled.

Harry turned to face Sonic, "Is that all you think about?"

"No."

"It shall be done," rumbled the dragon. A wheelbarrow full of chilidogs appeared in front of Sonic. "Farewell!" The dragon disappeared. The dragon balls floated up into the air and they shot off in 7 different directions.

"So, how are we supposed to get back?" Sonic asked in-between chilidogs.

"Simple," Harry pressed a button on the remote he grabbed just before stepping through the portal. Sonic, Harry, and the wheelbarrow full of chilidogs disappeared.

Chapter 14:

The people (furry people that is) of Knothole were amazed at the level of food Goku, Goten, and Gohan were consuming. Vegeta was disgusted, "You three eat like pigs."

"Hey!" A pig said walking by.

"Huh???" Vegeta was a bit confused.

Goku was busy chowing-down on his food as Goten and Gohan finished their 27^th and final helpings. Goku continued to eat for about another half an hour.

Sally asked Squeaks, "Where does he put it all?"

"Just any old place, the ironic thing is, it makes him faster and stronger," Squeaks replied.

Krillin decided that it was probably about time for them to leave before Goku ruined the food economy. "Don’t y’all think it’s about time to go?"

"But I was about to get 63^rds," Goku whined.

"I think Krillin is right, we need to be getting back home," Trunks seconded.

"We need to go, Bulma is probably worried sick about her handsome man," Vegeta boasted about himself.

"Oh, alright, we’ll go," Goku said disappointed. The group of eight started to walk off. Goku turned around "Harry, are you coming?"

Squeaks walked up to Goku. "I’m gonna stay here. They need my help here more than you need mine."

"I understand," Goku raised up two fingers as a farewell sign.

"Goodbye, Sensei."

The Z-Team put their hands together in a star formation much like a sports team does right before a game. The members of the team waved goodbye to Squeaks and disappeared on their way back to Earth.

Tails walked up behind Sonic, "You know Eggman got away yesterday. He went off toward the mountains."

"Holy Shomoligans I totally forgot!" Sonic exclaimed.

"Lemme guess, Robotnik got away, right?" Squeaks asked. "Well, only one thing to do. Let’s go get him."

Sonic took off running for the mountains, shortly followed by Squeaks and Tails.

Chapter 15:

"This is the last time we let you lead the way, Sonic." Tails said as the three dangled from a net in a tree.

"Well, sor-ry," Sonic said sarcastically.

* * *

A strong, vibrant figure rests a gauntleted hand upon the jeweled hilt of Frostfire his magical ice-blade as he sees the group hanging in a tree. The warrior’s face is a strong purposeful visage. His brooding yet fierce obsidian eyes blaze with power above his obsidian beak. His prominent cheekbones and the firmness of his jaw give him a stern appearance.

Three cerulean slashes run down his left cheek. His long beautiful feathers sway slightly as a cool breeze blows by. His knuckles on his hand flex as he grabs hold of Frostfire’s hilt. A long bow rests cross-wise on his back between his strong wings.

Huge eyes gleam like jewels as he spots his prey. There is a sliding sound as he draws the sword from its ornate sheath. The edges of the Frostfire’s blade shimmers as it catches the sun’s rays.

* * *

The figure jumps off a rock and slices the rope holding the trap, ice mist coming from his Frostfire. He pulls the three out of the netting.

"Greetings, I am Tuarim. What is your business in these mountains?"

"We are after our enemy, Robotnik. He has run to these mountains for some unknown reason," Tails explained.

"Ah, yes, I, too, am an enemy of Robotnik, he has destroyed the environment and polluted the mountains. He has a factory at the peak, perhaps that is where he was headed."

So, the group scaled the mountain on their way to find Robotnik. It wasn’t long before they were attacked. Tuarim used arrows to pick off some of the bots, while the other three resorted to brute force.

Eventually, they made it to the mountain’s peak, and Robotnik was waiting for them.

Chapter 16:

Robotnik was in a giant contraption that looked like it could grab somebody and shake the living daylights out of it. It was a tank with large robotic arms coming out the sides. One arm grabbed Tails.

"Hey! Lemme go!" Tails shouted.

Tuarim pulled out his Frostfire and attempted to cut off the arm that held Tails, but to no avail. He was grabbed by the other arm and hoisted high into the air. The tank began to advance on the two hedgehogs. Sonic broke left and Squeaks broke right around the tank. As Squeaks and Sonic approached the other side of a tank, Squeaks triggered an alarm that releases hundreds of flying robots after the group.

The bots swarmed out, one of them scooped up Sonic and flew off with him out of ear shot, "Oh Craaaaaa…" as Sonic faded. Squeaks began fending off the bots.

Sonic was able to buzz-saw his way through the bot and land on the side of the mountain. He dashed back up the mountain.

Tuarim was fighting his way to freedom as Robotnik cackled. Tuarim broke free "What?!" Robotnik noticed. Tuarim hopped over and sliced off the arm of the tank, freeing Tails.

Sonic arrived back at the battle and began taking out bots. Squeaks was busy fighting bots of his own, "KAMEHAMEHA!" he yelled, blasting a few bots. Sonic and Squeaks backed into each other. They began turning and fighting off bots like you would see in an old western.

Tails struggled out of the robotic arm, as Tuarim fought off bots.

Robotnik saw this opportunity with the two hedgehogs standing right next to each other. "This is perfect. I can destroy both of those pesky hedgehogs with one blow." A large laser cannon rose out of the tank and took aim on Sonic and Squeaks. It began warning up to fire its deadly ray.

Chapter 17:

Tuarim looked over and saw the laser warming up at the unsuspecting hedgehogs. "Look out!" Tuarim screamed as he flew toward them. The beam fired and Tuarim was caught in the damage path, taking the full brunt of the ray.

Sonic turned around to see Tuarim fall to the ground. "EGGMAN!!!!" Sonic yelled. His quills turning gold. This was the first time Sonic became Super Sonic without the use of the seven Chaos Emeralds.

Sonic flew at the tank, and ripped right through the solid titanium alloy. The tank exploded and Robotnik flew off in his escape. Sonic flew into the factory and went on a rampage, causing it to come crashing down in a matter of seconds. Squeaks and Tails watched in shock. Super Sonic calmly walked out of the crashing factory as it exploded.

The three rushed over to where Tuarim lay. Tuarim breathed slowly and was covered in blood. "I must say, that was exhilarating. ‘The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.’ …My time is short… I will die…soon, yet…I have no family. You…you are my only friends. Although our time…together was short…I enjoyed it. Please, honor my last…request. I…wish…to…be…buried…here…on this…mountain…at…its…peak… Thank you, and…good-bye…my…friends." His eyes closed forever. His breathing stopped. Tuarim, the mysterious hawk from the mountain, has passed to the great beyond. He died saving Sonic and Squeaks.

Sonic, Squeaks, and Tails buried Tuarim on the mountain as the sun set into the west. Tails placed his Frostfire on top of the grave as a marker to all whom should pass this way in the future.

The team went home after the sun had finished setting. Everything was back to normal…well, as normal as things can be when there is a vicious tyrant in power ready to do anything to destroy the ecosystem, but things weren’t going to stay normal for long.

Chapter 18:

It had been a week since the Z team left for home. Squeaks was still getting accustomed to this addition to his personality, but all was good in Knothole, except for one small problem. Food and parts kept disappearing from the food stores and Rotor’s workshop.

"I don’t get it, Sonic," Rotor said, "my stuff keeps disappearing. Somebody has to be stealing my stuff."

"Yeah, and the stuff from the food store is getting stolen too. We barely have enough as it is, since that guy Goku was here last week," Sonic replied.

Knothole’s speaker system buzzed and Bunnie Rabbot’s voice came on over it. "Alright, now listen up y’all, ev’ryone o’ y’all head on over to the center o’ town for a special meetin’."

Everyone appeared at the center of town for the meeting within a few minutes. Sally got everyone’s attention. "Attention, your attention please. Thank you. As most of you know, either someone in this village or an unknown outsider is stealing food and spare parts. Now, I think we shouldn’t jump to conclusions, but everyone stay on their guard. I want all suspicious activities reported to Sonic or myself. Thank you." Sally walked off.

The crowd turned its attention to Sonic. "Uh…yeah…anything suspicious." Sonic sneaked away from the crowd.

The day passed with no sign of the thief. Was all back to normal? …Nah!

Epilogue:

Squeaks walked through Knothole contemplating his two lives. Each part of him had grown up on totally different worlds. On Earth, Harry had been orphaned at a very young age, and was adopted into the Z-Team because of his potential at the age of 14. He had trained hard and reached a high level. On Mobius, he had been the son of the great robotics engineer, Sir Charles Hedgehog. His mother had apparently died when he was too young to remember at the hands of Robotnik. He had grown up and become the village computer geek. He had also been born with some of Sonic’s traits, like super speed the ability to use the power rings. Both parts had felt something missing, until they fused on that day 10 days ago. He was complete at last.

Squeaks walked by Rotor’s hut. He heard something going on inside and knew it couldn’t be Rotor since he just saw him a few minutes ago. He opened the door to see a black fox going through his stuff and plunking parts in a bag. "Hey! What do you think you’re doing?" The fox drew his sword and turned around. "Whoa! Who are you?"

The fox smiled and said coldly, "I am known as Cain Foxxe…"
